Landmark Mall in Alexandria to Close
According to WBJ, the Howard Hughes Corp announced Monday the purchase of the Macy’s department store property and associated parking lot at Landmark Mall located at 5801 Duke St in Alexandria, Virginia. According to NBC Washington, mall store owners have been given notice to vacate their spaces by January 31. There will be a big change but not sure how long it will take. Howard Hughes said it does not have a definitive timeline for the redevelopment.
